JetBlue Airlines and Southwest Airlines announced are celebrating the Broncos victory over the New England Patriots by adding flights to San Francisco for Super Bowl 50.

“We always say we fly people to the places people want to go and that’s why we’re adding these extra flights to the Bay Area the weekend of the big game," said Marty St. George, executive vice president commercial and planning at JetBlue.

JetBlue’s added flights will operate in the direction of San Francisco on Friday, Feb. 5 and will return fans to Denver on Monday, Feb. 8

Travel between Denver and San Francisco will be as follows:

  • 2 flights will depart DIA to SFO at 10:30 a.m. and 5:50 p.m.
  • 2 flights will depart from SFO at 9:45 a.m. and 5:20 p.m.

Southwest added three nonstop flights to San Francisco on Feb. 5, in addition to the three that were already scheduled. Three were added from San Francisco to Denver, as well. Southwest didn't give the times.

According to The Denver Post, Southwest will not add extra direct flights from Charlotte, the Panthers' home base.
