The Denver Zoo doesn’t want the Broncos to have all the fun. Zoo director Shannon Block is challenging zoos in North Carolina to a Super Bowl-wager.
North Carolina Zoo and Western North Carolina Nature Center have agreed.
When the Broncos win, the directors of those locations will greet guests in Broncos gear and hold signs congratulating Denver on the win.
If Carolina wins, Block will do the same.
When the Broncos lost to the Seahawks in Denver’s last Super Bowl appearance, Denver shipped trout to Woodland Park Zoo’s sea eagles. Curator of Birds John Azua also wore a Seahawks T-shirt to greet visitors.
