Sports writer Troy Renck is joining the Denver7 team.
Renck, a University of Colorado journalism school graduate, joined the Denver Post in 2002 to cover the Colorado Rockies. In recent years, he's been the Denver Broncos beat writer for the newspaper, breaking news about the players and the team.
Renck has also served as the Broncos insider for a variety of specials on Denver7.
He is a past president of the local chapter of Baseball Writers Association of America and has won more than 20 local and national writing awards.
Renck played golf, basketball and baseball at Pueblo Centennial High School, lettering four times.
He and his wife have two children.
