LONGMONT, Colo. — Hidden Treasure 2 consignment shop has been busy.

"We are doing a mask mission to make sure that our neighbors in the community have a mask," owner Sandy Noonan said.

Even though the Longmont arts and crafts store is not open, they started making masks a month ago, when Noonan wanted to do something to help nursing home workers.

Suddenly, they were getting requests from all over Longmont.

"We've given out almost 7,200 masks. There's still plenty here. We have orders for hospitals and nursing homes that are still up over 1,000 that were in the process of making," Noonan said.

They have volunteers stitching up a storm to help everyone who wants a mask in the area. They've accepted nothing in return, but donations.

And that demand is growing as the state gets closer to re-opening.

"Yesterday, we really started getting people calling because it's a week away, and people are more people that are potentially going out in public," Noonan said.

They'll continue even after they reopen as long as people are in need.
