BOULDER, Colo. -- It’s a viral fad that’s taken over high schools, sports teams and even politicians -- but now, even Colorado mascots are taking on the so-called “Mannequin Challenge.”
The official Twitter account of Ralphie, the CU Buffs mascot, posted a video Sunday morning of the animal participating in the challenge with the rest of her handlers.
The handlers, dressed like cowboys, can be seen standing still in several different positions – some fighting, some crawling and a few of them using a lasso to hold one of them in place.
But what’s surprising (to us, at least) was how still Ralphie was. How did they do it?!

The "Mannequin Challenge" is a viral internet meme where people remain frozen in action while a video is recorded, usually with music in the background.
It is believed students from Edward H. White High School in Jacksonville, Fla., started the Mannequin Challenge on Oct. 26, 2016, according to KnowYourMeme.com.
