EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. – An investigation is underway in El Paso County after two bodies were found on the side of the road in Pueblo Sunday morning.
A man and a woman were found in the area of Old Pueblo and Hanover Roads by a group of people driving in the area just before 9 a.m., according to our ABC affiliate in Colorado Springs, KRDO-TV.
While the investigation is still in its early stages, a spokesperson with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office told KRDO-TV the deaths could be the result of a double homicide.
Hanover Road was closed from Old Pueblo to I-25. Sheriff officials think the investigation could go on until Monday morning.
