DENVER -- In a rare meeting, Denver's current mayor and three former mayors discussed the city's growth and its future.

Affordable housing, transportation, infrastructure and overall quality of life continue to be some of the main challenges facing Denver.

"If we really want to address the broad comprehensive values of sustainability then you must address housing, you must address mobility, you must address land planning," said Mayor Michael Hancock.

Mayor Michael Hancock joined his predecessors Federico Pena, Wellington Webb and Gov. John Hickenlooper.

“Affordable housing is going to continue to be a big issue. The only places that don’t have a problem with affordable housing are the places that are not growing," said Governor Hickenlooper.

Mayor Hancock says a comprehensive approach is needed to address key issues facing the city.
