Denver7 hosting Hickenlooper-Romanoff debate Tuesday, June 16 with The Denver Post, CPR News

DENVER – Democratic U.S. Senate candidates John Hickenlooper and Andrew Romanoff will participate in a debate on Tuesday, June 16, at 6 p.m., which is sponsored by Denver7, The Denver Post, Colorado Public Radio News and the University of Denver.

The 90-minute debate will be held in-studio at Denver7 and will be hosted by Denver7’s Anne Trujillo, Denver Post political reporter Justin Wingerter and Colorado Matters host Ryan Warner.

Denver7 will air the first hour of the debate both on air and on our streaming platforms, and the latter half-hour will air on our streaming platform’s only. The entire debate will be streamed on all three news outlet’s websites.

Ballots are being mailed to Colorado voters this week. The winner of the Hickenlooper-Romanoff primary, which will take place June 30, will face incumbent Sen. Cory Gardner, R-Colo., in November.
