DENVER -- Going into the 2016 election, both houses of the Colorado legislature are relatively evenly split.

Republicans have an 18-17 majority in the State Senate.

Democrats have a 34-31 advantage in the State House.

On this week's Politics Unplugged, former republican state representative Amy Stephens and democratic strategist Steve Welchert talked about how things could swing after the election.
