Home Improvement Expo
What: Planning to remodel, update or simply need help finishing your honey-do list? This free event is your one-stop-shop, your chance to visit with contractors and designers ready to introduce new technologies and trends in home improvements and landscaping. Be inspired and get motivated.
Where: Recreation Center at Eastridge, 9568 University Blvd., Highlands Ranch, Colo.
What: It’s Broadway – The Ice Show featuring over 100 local skaters performing to music from Broadway classics such as Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, Wicked and Annie. The performance will also feature special guest skaters Mirai Nagasu, the 2016 Four Continents Silver Medalist and 2010 US Olympic team member, and Max Aaron, the 2016 US Championships Silver medalist.

What:All Aboard! Be the first to ride the much anticipated University of Colorado A Line. The ribbon cutting ceremony and celebration starts at 10 a.m. Friday. Then free rides on the A Line begin at 12 noon Friday. You can start your free ride at any of the eight stations along the route, including Union Station and the Airport Station. The celebration continues on Saturday with community-hosted parties at the stations along the route. Enjoy food, entertainment, and activities for the whole family.

What: Have you ever wanted a sneak peek inside the Boettcher Mansion or the newly renovated Union Station? This is your chance. Many of Denver’s historic buildings will open their doors this weekend to offer the public an exclusive and rare viewing opportunity inside these architectural treasures. Learn about the rich, diverse history of the city; experience the places where the entrepreneurial spirit and love for play meet; and explore what is on the horizon for our great city.

What: Enjoy free admission and family-friendly entertainment that celebrates children from around world at the Denver Art Museum complex, Denver Public Library, Clyfford Still Museum, History Colorado Center and the Byers-Evans House Museum. The Denver Art Museum will also play host to live music and dance and crafts and games throughout the day. Ticketed admission required for special exhibitions.

What:This annual event hosted by the Wild Bear Mountain Ecology Center will be packed with activities that celebrate our environment. Enjoy live performances on the main stage, get up close and personal with raptors and reptiles, chat with environmental scientists, engage in hands-on activities, stroll the museum, and more. Be sure to pick up your goody bag and scavenger hunt card when you arrive.
