8:42 a.m.: There are now more than 180 outages across the metro area affecting more than 4,300 customers.
6:36 a.m.: The number of power outages across the Denver metro area now numbers more than 3,200. The largest outage is affecting nearly 1,000 customers in Englewood.
6:30 a.m.: Firefighters are battling a garage fire in the 4900 block of Morrison Road. The road is closed in that area.

6:10 a.m.: All that wet, heavy snow is bringing down some tree branches and power lines this morning, leading to power outages across the Denver metro area. As of 6:10 a.m., Xcel Energy was reporting nearly 3,000 customers without power.
