DENVER - Six history museums in Colorado will offer free admission to kids this summer:
Byers-Evans House Museum, Denver
El Pueblo History Museum, Pueblo
Fort Garland Museum and Cultural Center, Fort Garland
Fort Vasquez Museum, Platteville
Healy House and Dexter Cabin, Leadville
Trinidad History Museum, Trinidad
The free admission offer is for kids 18 and under and runs from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
"From historic homes to adobe forts, Community Museums document the stories of Colorado’s incredible history throughout the state," History Colorado officials said.
"Each museum offers a different learning experience that encourage kids to learn Colorado’s history through hands-on activities and engaging content,” stated Director of Community Museums Dawn DiPrince.
