Haven't skied yet? You're running out of time

If you've waited this long to enjoy Colorado's ski country, you my friend, have dropped the ball and have missed out on some great vistas and some great skiing opportunities. 

But not all is lost -- there are a few ski resorts that will remain open for a few more days, but by this time next month, well... we won't be saying the same thing. 

Here's a list of the ski areas that have closed, and the ones that are still open, per ColoradoSki.com

  • Aspen Highlands - Closed (April 10)
  • Aspen Mountain - Sunday, April 17
  • Beaver Creek - Closed (April 10) 
  • Breck - Sunday, April 24
  • Buttermilk - Closed (April 3)
  • Cooper - Closed (April 10) 
  • Copper - Sunday, April 17, reopens Friday - Sunday April 22-24
  • Crested Butte - Closed (April 3)
  • Eldora - Closed (April 10)
  • Howelsen - Closed 
  • Keyston - Closed (April 10) 
  • Loveland - Sunday, May 8
  • Monarch - Closed (April 10)
  • Powderhorn - Closed (April 3)
  • Purgatory - Closed (April 3)

  • Ski Granby Ranch - Closed
