Man Arrested In Sheridan Double-Stabbing

Julius Trujillo Accused Of Stabbing Ex-Girlfriend, Her Mother

A 24-year-old man has been arrested in the March stabbing of two women in Sheridan, police said Thursday.

Julius Allen Trujillo was wanted in connection with the March 15 stabbing of his ex-girlfriend and her mother in the 4300 block of South Lowell Boulevard, police said. Both women were hospitalized.

Trujillo fled the scene on foot, police said.

Sheridan Police Chief Mark Campbell said his agency received a tip that Trujillo was at a Denver home. Sheridan police forwarded the tip to the Denver Police Department Fugitive Unit.

Denver police arrested Trujillo without incident at a home in the 2400 block of North King Street on Tuesday afternoon, according to police records.

He was being held in Denver jail Thursday on a fugitive warrant for attempted homicide and assault charges, Campbell said. His bond was set at $125,000.
