Young girl tells mom that man touched her at Fort Collins playground, leads to arrest

Police say there may be more victims

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Police in Fort Collins arrested a man suspected of sexually assaulting a child, and said they are concerned there may be more victims.

On Sunday, Christopher Webb, 39, allegedly approached a mother and her daughter at a playground on West Horsetooth Road. After talking, the mother invited him to come to church and lunch with them.

Later, the daughter told her mom that Webb had touched her, according to the Fort Collins Police Service.

Webb was arrested Tuesday and charged with sexual assault on a child. He was booked into the Larimer County Jail.
