Working Wednesday: Amazon looking to hire 1,500 at new Thornton facility

THORNTON, Colo. — Amazon announced this week that it has begun hiring 1,500 full-time positions at their new robotics fulfillment center in Thornton.

The nearly 900,000 square-foot facility opens this fall, and it will be Amazon’s first robotics fulfillment center in Colorado. 

Applicants can apply online or walk-in (after starting online) at the company's Westminster location, 11860 Pecos Street, Suite 2200, now until Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

According to Amazon’s webpage, starting pay is $12 an hour, and they also offer a “comprehensive benefits package.”
