LAKEWOOD, Colo. – A woman died after she was found shot at a Lakewood motel on Friday night, police said.
Officers responded about 9:30 p.m. to the Blue Sky Motel in the 6200 block of West Colfax Avenue, where a shooting had been reported. They found the victim, a 32-year-old woman, with an apparent gunshot wound.
She was taken to a hospital, where she died, police said.
Witnesses reported to police that they saw three black men and one white man fleeing the motel in different directions. One suspect was seen with a gun in his hand, the witnesses said. Police said the suspect with a gun was described as a black man, about 5-foot-9 with an average build, and he was wearing a black hoodie or jacket, a black hat and camouflage pants.
