Police: Woman has been missing from Colorado Springs since April 4

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Police in Colorado Springs are searching for a woman who went missing earlier this year and hasn't been heard from or seen since.

On April 4, the Colorado Springs Police Department received a call requesting a welfare check for Jepsy Amaga Kallungi.

Officers were not able to contact and her and started a missing person case after conducting a preliminary investigation, according to police.

That same day, the department’s Homicide/Assault Unit took over the investigation. Since then, detectives have been investigating the circumstances around her disappearance.

No other information was available as of Wednesday morning.
