FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Authorities arrested a Wyoming woman in connection with a Fort Collins homicide and are now looking for a second suspect, according to a release Tuesday from the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.

Nicole Gibson, 40, of Laramie, Wyoming, was arrested Friday, five days after the body of 38-year-old Timothy Bryant was found outside a building in the 200 block of Link Lane in Fort Collins.

Investigators have secured a first-degree murder arrest warrant for the other suspect in this case, Efren Jose Almeida, 34. Police say Almeida is a transient and is known to drive a white 2006 Lincoln Town Car with unknown or no license plates.

Investigators have not revealed the cause of the person’s death or any additional circumstances surrounding the case.

Gibson was booked into the Larimer County Jail on allegations of first-degree murder and tampering with physical evidence and was assigned no bond at her first court appearance Monday.

Anyone with information regarding this incident or the whereabouts of Efren Almeida is asked to call LCSO Investigator Steve Gates at 970-498-5169.
