BAILEY, Colo. — Crews are battling a fast-growing wildfire burning five miles southwest of Bailey.
Firefighters from surrounding agencies and a helicopter were dispatched to the Lost Creek Wilderness area Monday afternoon.
The Shawnee Peak Fire has charred at least 37 acres, according to officials. It is at zero percent containment as of 6 p.m.
No evacuations have been issued.
