DENVER -- As investigators search for the cause of Wednesday's fire at a building under construction, one family is waiting for the worst kind of news.

Evette Flores Prieto says her husband Roberto was doing insulation work on the building at 1833 Emerson. She hasn't heard from him since the fire.

"Nobody's told me if he's the one missing, nobody's told me if he's injured," says Flores Prieto.

The fire destroyed the under-construction Emerson Place Apartments at 1833 Emerson. One body was found at the burned site. Another person is still unaccounted for. But authorities haven't identified the dead, or the missing person.

Cadaver dogs will be used at the site Thursday to try and locate any other bodies. Evette Flores Prieto says her husband was just about to take a lunch break Wednesday when the fire started. A co-worker said Roberto never made it down.

"My husband had said he was going to finish up what he had left then go to lunch," Flores Prieto says she learned from the co-worker. "He never showed up."

Evette and Roberto have two children, ages 7 and 2. She says her husband had been doing spray foam insulation for a long time and always wore the proper safety gear.
