WESTMINSTER, Colo. – Police are asking for the public’s help finding a woman who allegedly rammed a patrol car during a pursuit Sunday morning.

According to Westminster police, an officer tried to conduct a traffic stop near Westcliff Parkway and Westminster Boulevard around 7:15 a.m. but the car wouldn’t stop. The officer chose not to pursue the vehicle.

A different officer then spotted the car near 92nd Avenue and Westminster Boulevard and turned on his overhead lights. The suspect swerved toward the officer and rammed his car, according to police. The officer was not injured.

Officers gave chase and followed the car westbound on 92nd Avenue and southbound on Wadsworth Parkway before ending the pursuit at about 84th Avenue.

Police said the woman was driving a silver Subaru Forester with Colorado license plate FHQ287. The car sustained damage to the front driver’s side and may be missing a back license plate.
