1. Police identify suspect in Thornton Walmart shooting
Authorities are looking for a suspect who, according to what witnesses told police, walked into a Thornton Walmart Wednesday night and began firing randomly into a group of shoppers. Three people were killed. The suspect is identified as Scott Ostrem, 47. He left in a red 4-door Mitsubishi Mirage with Colorado license plate 882 TQB.

2. Pueblo Police to announce historic heroin trafficking takedown
Pueblo Police, along with the U.S. Attorney and the FBI, are set to announce historic seizures based on a criminal investigation into drug trafficking in the Pueblo area. A press conference is scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday.

3. Manafort, Gates back in court
Former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort and his associate Rick Gates will be back in federal court in Washington, DC today.

4. Astros win World Series
In a World Series dominated by home runs and the long ball, it was the Game 7 pitching performance on Wednesday by the Houston Astros which led the squad to the franchise's first ever World Series title.

5. Slightly cooler Thursday
Clouds will increase a bit on Thursday as a weak cold front drops across the plains from Wyoming.  Temperatures will dip only slightly with highs in the low to mid 60s.
