DENVER – The Medical Examiner's Office identified Wednesday the victim killed during an apparent home invasion in south Denver near the Tech Center.

Timothy Anderson, 27, was shot multiple times early Tuesday morning inside a home in the 3900 block of South Spruce Street. The victim's address was listed as being the home where the incident occurred, according to online records pulled by Denver7.

The suspect or suspects are still on the run. However, just hours after the shooting, police found an abandoned vehicle parked near East 12th Avenue and Xenia Street, several miles north of the Spruce Street scene. Investigators believe the Audi SUV is connected to the homicide.

Police haven't released a possible motive or suspect information at this time. They continue to investigate and were seen Tuesday going door-to-door asking residents if they saw anything.

Meanwhile, police in the nearby area of Greenwood Village are investigating multiple residential burglaries that occurred around the same time, but they have not connected the Greenwood Village incidents to the Denver homicide.
