UCHealth Home Run Derby benefits blood cancer research

DENVER — The third annual Healthy Swings: Charity Home Run Derby, hosted by UCHealth, raised $100,000 to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society - Rocky Mountain Chapter.

The Broncos and local media, including Denver 7's Jaclyn Allen, swung for the fences, raising $98,700 in donations. Bronco player Casey Kreiter personally donated 1,300 to bring the total to $100,000.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society funds cutting-edge research to advance cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma.
