WESTMINSTER, Colo. — The two women who died in an apartment fire have been identified.
The coroner for Adams and Broomfield Counties said the victims were Lea Hamel, 41, of Venice, Florida, and Margaret Kelly, 58, of Westminster.
They both died from injuries related to the fire, according to the coroner.
There were a total of 16 victims in Sunday morning's fire at the Westbury Apartments on the 1500 block of W. 115th Avenue.
Three people were still in the hospital in critical condition as of Wednesday afternoon.
Two more were in the hospital in unknown condition.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
