ARAPAHOE COUNTY, Colo. — Two juveniles were taken into custody Friday morning after a crime spree involving an alleged kidnapping, armed robbery and police chase.

The two juvenile suspects kidnapped a person early Friday morning and, at gunpoint, brought the individual to an ATM and demanded money, said Ginger Delgado with Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office.

The person was able to alert a bystander about the situation and escaped the two suspects. It was unclear if the suspects were able to get money from the ATM.

The two suspects stole the person's car and drove away, Delgado said.

An Arapahoe County deputy spotted the car. A short pursuit began and ended when the suspect driver lost control of the vehicle, it hit a patrol car and crashed into a resident's fence at S. Jersey Street and E. Dry Creek Road, Delgado said.

Both juvenile suspects were taken into custody.

Nobody was injured.

Information on the suspects or the person they allegedly kidnapped was not available Friday morning.
