THORNTON, Colo. – A new Topgolf is coming to Thornton – and so are hundreds of jobs.
The golf entertainment complex announced on Thursday that it'll be hiring 500 full- and part-time positions for its new facility, slated to open sometime later this year off Interstate 25 and East 160th. The open positions include servers, bartenders, kitchen, maintenance and guest services staff.
Topgolf is holding a hiring event June 18 in Westminster. Here are the details:

Thornton landed the Topgolf after the city offered about $3.75 million in tax incentives. Topgolf had tried to build a facility at I-25 and 136th Avenue, but neighbors went to court and challenged the zoning of the site. The new site, where the Topgolf is still under construction, was approved in December 2017.
The Thornton location will be Topgolf's second in the Denver metro. The Centennial location opened in 2015, hiring about 450 positions at the time.
