Teller County Animal Control searching for person who injured small dog

TELLER COUNTY, Colo. — Teller County Animal Control is looking for the person responsible for causing injuries to a small dog in Woodland Park.

Animal control was notified of a small white and tan Chihuahua-type dog that appeared to be hurt and limping in the area of Center Street Monday. Investigators found the dog with severe injuries around the mouth and nose.

They're trying to figure out who's responsible and ask anyone who recognizes the dog and may know anything to contact Teller County Animal Control at (719) 687-9652 and ask for Officer Trixie Hudspeth or Officer Kathleen Ruyak.
