WESTMINSTER, Colo.- An alert has been issued for a teen who is considered "gravely disabled" and will not be able to recognize that he is in a dangerous situation.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation launched a Developmentally Delayed Alert late Wednesday night for Joshua Gonzales.
Gonzales, 14, was last seen around 7:15 p.m. in the area of 8400 block of Church Ranch Boulevard, which is east of Wadsworth Parkway.
It was believed he left the area with another child.
The teen "suffers from several mental health disorders and is considered gravely disabled," according to a press release from the Westminster Police Department.
"Joshua is unable to comprehend dangerous situations and will not be able to recognize the colder temperatures."
He was last seen wearing a black hoodie, grey sweatpants and black shoes.
Gonzales is about 5'5" 116 ponds with brown hair and eyes.
