DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. — A 16-year-old Douglas County girl who was last seen at the Denver International Airport on Jan. 4 is still missing.
Whitney Lulloff boarded a plane from Phoenix to Denver on Jan. 4 and was spotted leaving the plane at DIA, but hasn't been seen or heard from since, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office. The sheriff's office is assisting the Denver Police Department in this case.
Her family was waiting for her at the airport to welcome her home, but Lulloff never showed up, police said.
The sheriff's office said Lulloff did not contact her family when she landed in Denver, which was not typical.
Lulloff typically wears a hoodie and tennis shoes. She stands 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds. She has blonde hair and green eyes.
Lulloff’s mother told Denver7 just before 1 p.m. Friday that Lulloff was last seen on foot near 61st and Tower Road on Monday, Jan. 4 around 1:15 p.m. and that her hair was either blonde or black. Lulloff’s father made a new poster that also shows the hat she was wearing at the time.
