DENVER -- An x-ray machine flagged a suspicious item in a non-public luggage screening area at Denver International Airport Tuesday evening.

Denver Police rushed to the scene as officials closed that area down, however DIA officials said the situation won't impact flights or normal airport operations.

The only delays are expected to be in with luggage delays on certain flights.

Officials say there have been no evacuations at this time.
