ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. -- Authorities are on the lookout for two men who invaded a home in the Derby neighborhood and attacked one of the occupants with a crow bar.

They then stole the victim's Porsche Cayenne.

The victim hopped into another vehicle and followed the suspects into Denver, while calling police.

A family member told Denver7 that he was asleep in the house when he heard yelling.

"I guess it was my uncle," he said. "He had gotten hit. They assaulted him. They hit him twice in the head."

The victim's nephew said he got up and saw two men running from the house.

"One hopped into his car and the other one took my uncle's Porsche," he said.

The Porsche was last seen being driven in the vicinity of S. Monaco Parkway and E. Center Avenue, near George Washington High School.

It was later recovered in Aurora.

The Adams County Sheriff's Office issued BOLO (Be On the Look Out) alerts to neighboring police departments.

They then tweeted a description of the suspects.

One was wearing a (ski) mask, is 6 feet tall, 240 pounds and was wearing a red shirt.

The other is simply described as Hispanic, in his 20s. He was apparently wearing a hoodie.

Authorities aren't saying yet, whether they think this was a random attack, or if the victim was specifically targeted.

Family members believe the suspects wanted the Porsche.
