DENVER — The Clear Creek County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after skeletal remains were recovered in the county Saturday.
The remains were found in the area of Miner’s Candle, which is located south of Interstate 70.
Several entities assisted in the search and recovery operations, the sheriff’s office said.
There is no word on who the remains belong to at this time. They were turned over to the Clear Creek County Coroner’s Office for identification.
