AURORA, Colo. - A 19-year-old man faces an attempted first-degree murder charge after he allegedly stabbed a woman at an Aurora mobile home park last weekend.
The stabbing, which happened about 3 a.m. Sunday at the Woodshire East Mobile Home Community in the 1500 block of North Sedalia Way, led to a six-hour SWAT standoff.
Aurora Police said the suspect, Samuel Dejesus Quinones, surrendered as SWAT officers were waiting for a search warrant to enter the mobile home.
Police said Sunday the victim of stabbing was serious condition.
Quinones remained in Adams County Jail Wednesday on $100,000 bond. He's scheduled to appear in court Thursday to be advising on the filing of formal charges.
Aurora Police have not released an arrest photo of Quinones because they are conducting photo line-ups for the investigation.
