BOULDER COUNTY, Colo. — A rockslide has shutdown both lanes of Highway 119 through Boulder Canyon.
The slide occurred Wednesday afternoon between mile markers 39 and 40 during a construction project. No vehicles were in the area at the time and no injuries were reported.
Crews from the Colorado Department of Transportation are working to clear the highway. There is no estimated time on when it will reopen.
Officials are recommending alternative routes.
