President Barack Obama spoke at the Air Force Academy graduation ceremony in Colorado Springs Thursday morning.

The ceremony began at 9:30 a.m. at Falcon Stadium. Graduating cadets marched onto the field at 9:45 a.m.

President Obama started speaking at about 10:20 a.m.

“Nobody can match America’s Air Force,” President Obama told the crowd.

"Here's a fact the United States of America remains the most powerful nation on Earth and a force for good," the president said.

"If you target Americans, we will find you and justice will be done and we will defend our nation," the president continued.

More than 800 cadets are graduating and officials were expecting 28,000 people to attend the ceremony.

People were already starting to fill the stadium a little after 8 a.m.

The end of the ceremony will feature an aerial demonstration by the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds. Officials stated it will be the team's only performance in Colorado this year.
