DENVER – Police officers are trying to find whoever shot a man at a Denver motel early Wednesday.
An altercation of some kind reportedly led to the shooting at the Rodeway Inn at I-70 and Peoria around 2 a.m., according to police.
When officers arrived, they found a man in his 20s suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to Denver Health in serious condition. At last check, the victim was undergoing surgery.
Police said they don’t have a description of the suspect but they’re interviewing witnesses who may be able to provide some leads.
