DENVER – Police were investigating a southwest Denver shooting Sunday morning as a homicide.
Officers responded to the shooting in the 5100 block of Morrison Road and found one victim wounded, according to a tweet from Denver police about 6:30 a.m. Police tweeted later Sunday morning that the shooting was being investigated as a homicide.
Officers were still investigating the shooting. No suspects had been arrested. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867.
The Morrison Road shooting happened about two miles from a shooting Sunday morning in Lakewood, where three people were shot and one person was assaulted. But Lakewood police said the two incidents weren't related.
