DENVER — Police in Denver are investigating the death of a juvenile male whose body was found Saturday morning in a Denver park.
The boy’s body was found in West Park in the Green Valley Ranch neighborhood, according to a tweet from the Denver Police Department.
The victim died as the result of a shooting, police said.
He was later identified as 17-year-old Diego Marquez.
They have not called the investigation a homicide at this time, tweeting that investigators are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the boy’s death.
