WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. – Several people were taken to the hospital after a crash involving three cars and an RTD bus Wednesday morning.
Police said a suspected DUI driver ran a red light and crashed into the bus at the intersection of 38th and Wadsworth. The bus then hit two other vehicles.
A driver of one of the cars, a passenger in one of the cars and a passenger on the bus were all taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Wadsworth was closed in both directions because of the crash and police expected to closure to last for several hours.
