Police: 3 cousins missing after they ran away from Aurora home Sunday have been found

AURORA, Colo. — Three young cousins out of Aurora ran away from home and are still missing following a family dispute Sunday evening, according to the Aurora Police Department.

Leanne, 13, Ashlyn, 9, and Serenity, 6, all went missing around 7:30 p.m. Sunday. Their last names were not provided. They are considered at-risk due to their young age. Police said the trio ran away after Leanne was involved in a family dispute.

The cousins left the area of E. 19th Avenue and Jamaica Street on foot.

Police said Leanne is about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and 213 pounds. She as brown hair, which she tends to wear in a bun, and green eyes. She was last seen wearing a white hoodie, black pants and pink sandals. Ashlyn is 4 feet, 5 inches and about 100 pounds. She has brown hair with green streaks in it. She has green eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt and blue spandex pants with pink sandals. Serenity is about 3 feet, 8 inches tall and 60 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. She was also wearing a blue shirt, blue spandex and pink sandals when she went missing. All the girls have shoulder-length hair.

Police ask that you call 911 if you see these girls. They were still missing as of 9 a.m. Monday.
