DENVER – A person was taken to a nearby hospital Wednesday afternoon after they were hit by an RTD bus, though little other information was immediately available.
The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of 3rd and Broadway in Denver. Police said one person was hospitalized with unknown injuries. It was unclear if the pedestrian was in a crosswalk when the crash occurred or where exactly it happened.
The two right lanes of southbound Broadway were closed at 3rd for the investigation. Photos from the scene showed clothes on the street near the bus.
