DENVER — A pedestrian was struck and killed by the A Line train at the Central Park Station in Denver Friday.
Denver police tweeted that the incident occurred at the Central Park Station in the 8200 block of East Smith Road. No other details concerning the crash were immediately available.
The incident has disrupted service on the A Line. Trains will be running between 40th and Airport Road to the Denver International Airport Station, RTD tweeted. Bus shuttles will provide service between 40th and Airport Road to Union Station.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation. There is no estimated time on when the line will operating normally.
