Pedestrian seriously injured in hit-and-run crash in downtown Denver

DENVER — Police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who seriously injured a pedestrian Saturday morning.

Denver Police rushed to the scene of Speer Boulevard and Arapahoe Street around 6:30 a.m. and found the seriously injured pedestrian.

Paramedics transported the victim to the hospital.

Police have not released a description of the vehicle. Other details were not immediately known.

The area was shut off to traffic while police investigated.
