HENDERSON, Colo. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a semi on Interstate 76 in Adams County Tuesday morning, the Colorado State Patrol said.
Trooper Josh Lewis said CSP responded to the westbound lanes of the interstate near 88th Avenue at about 4 a.m.
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital where they were later declared dead, Lewis said.
Further details about the collision weren’t immediately available. Troopers have not identified anyone involved.
The westbound lanes of I-76 were closed for about an hour due to the crash.
