DENVER – A pedestrian was hit and killed by an RTD light rail train Saturday, according to the Denver Police Department.
Police said it happened near the area of the 200 block of W Iowa Ave. That’s near the intersection of W. Iowa Avenue and South Acoma Street.
No details about how the deadly crash occurred have been released, but the victim was identified on Dec. 29 as 36-year-old Brittany Metz by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner. Her cause and manner of death are pending investigation.
Police only said in a tweet the circumstances of the crash were under investigation.
