FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado-based OtterBox is getting ready to open its first-ever retail location – in the company’s hometown.
The store, called Otter Shop, will be located at 151 W. Mountain Ave. in downtown Fort Collins.
OtterBox got its start in a garage in Fort Collins in the 1990s and has since grown to become one of the most well-known names in phone cases. OtterBox cases are known for being especially rugged and waterproof.
In addition to carrying the company’s standard products, the Otter Shop will feature exclusive items with local brands like Odell Brewing and Colorado State University as well as offering customers the ability to print their own custom phone cases. The store also will carry OtterBox’s sister brand, LifeProof.

The store will open on Friday, Aug. 11 with a grand opening celebration lasting through the weekend.
