One man dead after stabbing in Aurora Wednesday evening

AURORA, Colo. — Aurora police are investigating a stabbing Wednesday evening that left one man dead.

On Wednesday around 8 p.m., officers with the Aurora Police Department responded to 9801 E. Colfax Avenue for a report of a stabbing.

When they arrived at the scene, they found a man with a stab wound. Officers attempted to provide life-saving measures and the man was taken to the hospital, where he died.

While searching the crime scene for evidence, witnesses or suspects, officers found a person of interest. The person was questioned by police late Wednesday evening, but was not arrested.
