DENVER – If only finding your prince charming was as easy as adopting a dog! Well now, there’s an app for that – called Dig – and it just launched in Denver in recent weeks.

Single dog moms and dads can sign up to use the Dig Dates app to connect with other pup parents. Each profile on the app includes photos and details about the dogs and their humans.

“You’re hitting two dogs with one bone,” said Dig spokesperson Becky Michletz. “You might make a friend from it. You might date somebody from it. But then you are also getting to meet another dog, potentially, that your dog is friends with.”

Heather and Ashton were recently set up using the app after they met at Camp Bow Wow with their dogs – a casual first date for them and their pups to get to know one another.

The app also includes local deal and suggestions for dog-friendly dates for all the newcomers – like Heather and Ashton – who don’t quite know where to go after arriving to Denver.

The two said they planned to go on a second date.
